Dear Richardson Families:
With the first quarter just ending and Parent/Teacher Conferences completed, I would like to invite you to sit down with your children and discuss their grades. It’s important that you express to them the importance of academic achievement and encourage them to always do their best. Praise them on their achievements. Find an area for improvement and encourage them to set a goal for next quarter. Finally, make sure that you instill in your child the idea that they are responsible for their grades. These grades reflect effort and attitude. Good effort and attitude result in good grades.
Arizona State Law allows you to give up to $400 to a public school and receive a $400 credit on your taxes. If your tax bill is $500, and you give $400 to Richardson, your tax bill is reduced to $100. It’s quite a deal, and I hope you take advantage of it. All money that is donated goes back directly to our students. Donation forms are available at the front office. Donations must be made prior to December 31, 2008 to claim them on your 2008 tax returns.
On behalf of all of us at Richardson, I want to wish you the best during this Thanksgiving season. Take this time to count your blessings.I genuinely appreciate your continued support, and if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
