Dear Richardson Families,

The end of the third quarter is quickly approaching. Please be aware that we will be sending report cards home during the week of March 8th, unless you have already scheduled a conference with your child’s teacher. In that case, the teacher will give you your child's report card at the conference. At this time of year, teachers will schedule conferences only on an “as needed” basis.

Please review the report card with your children. Encourage them in areas that need improvement and praise them for their accomplishments.

Love of Reading Month brought many guests to Richardson to read to our students. We appreciate all who took time out of their busy schedules to come to Richardson for this event. Very special thanks to Mrs. Derrig for all her efforts to make this event such a success each year.

Grandparents' Week: We will celebrate Grandparents’ Week on March 8th, 9th, and 10th. I encourage all grandparents and special people to participate by joining your grandchildren for lunch. After lunch, you can browse the Book Fair for their favorite book.

Kindergarten Round-up: Kindergarten registration for the 2010-2011 school year will take place March 22nd-26th. Please see the information sheet in the March newsletter for details regarding kindergarten registration.

Flowing Wells Educational Foundation is sponsoring the 17th Annual Festival Under the Stars on Friday, March 19th. This is a fantastic family event. Please check the flier in the March newsletter for full details on this fun time.
